Wet Leg brought Brat to Truck Festival 2024 with an impromptu cover of Charli XCX ‘s single “360.” The indie rock band headed by Hester Chambers and Rhian Teasdale slotted their own unique take on the record into their 11-track set list. In videos from the set, audience members who are also tapped into Brat Girl Summer can be heard shouting the lyrics back at the singer with a particular boost in volume during: “I’m everything I’m so Julia.” Music and memes from the album have become integral in everything from Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign to dissections of the current state of pop as its one-time avant-garde auteur moved from left of field to front and center.
