Wesley Snipes jokes Marvel's 'Blade' reboot is going "kinda rough"

Wesley Snipes has addressed the numerous delays hindering the progress of Marvel's 'Blade' reboot, announced in 2019.

Snipes, who played the titular role in all three films, has addressed the delay, calling the attempts to reboot the movie “kinda rough”. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly last year, the Green Book star shared how he is still optimistic about the film’s progress, saying: “I’m sincerely encouraged in terms of where things are at and who’s on board and who’s leading the way as far as the writing of the script and the directing and all that.” As part of an overall strategy at Disney to concentrate more on the quality of content, rather than quantity, the number of Marvel projects will be reduced, said the studio head.
