Wendy Guevara Joins ‘Desiguales’ As Co-Host At TelevisaUnivision & Makes Trans History
Wendy Guevara has joined Desiguales as the sixth co-host of TelevisaUnivision's daytime talk show.
“Wendy’s fearless approach and ability to connect with audiences on social media will make her a perfect fit for the Desiguales family,” said Omar Fajer, SVP, Non-Scripted and Music at TelevisaUnivision. “Her down-to-earth charm and sense of humor will undoubtedly elevate the show’s engaging blend of current topics, entertainment news, and lighthearted banter, ensuring that viewers continue to feel like they are part of the conversation.” Although Desiguales doesn’t rely heavily on political topics like its Telemundo counterpart, La Mesa Caliente, having Guevera on one of its most popular shows gives the trans community visibility on the major Spanish-language network.
