Wendell Pierce Says He Left World Series Game 5 Early Due To “Unruly, Obnoxious” Fans: “Worst Experience Ever”


Wendell Pierce lamented the 'unruly, obnoxious' fans at Yankees Stadium that caused him to leave World Series Game 5 ahead of the Dodgers' victory.

The Wire actor Wendell Pierce was decidedly not among the fans celebrating the Los Angeles Dodgers ‘ turnaround victory against the New York Yankees in the World Series Game 5. Taking to X yesterday, the Suits actor began his series of tweets posted Oct. 30 with a video explaining his Yankees hat and attire, saying that since he was in the team’s hometown he was cheering for the East Coast players. Following the Dodgers’ clinching of the MLB championship, Betts admitted in a post-game interview that it was “like the second time in my life I’ve ever wanted to fight someone,” though the athlete was able to shrug off the jarring moment.
