Well Go USA Acquires Domestic Rights For Thai Action Film ‘Bangkok Dog’
'Bangkok Dog' marks director Chaya Supannarat's feature film debut, and Well Go USA plans to launch it stateside in October.
His street smarts and fighting skills win over the local gangsters and he rises through the Bangkok underworld, but the closer he gets to cracking the case, the more he loses himself in the role. Supporting roles include local Thai veteran actors Byron Bishop ( Only God Forgives), Sahajak Boonthanakit ( The Beach) and model-actress Jenny Philomena Van Der Sluijs. Before directing Bangkok Dog, Supannarat was a producer and frequent collaborator of the late director Pearry Teo ( Shadow Master,The Assent, Gene Generation).
