According to the LAPD, officers approached the rear of a home in the 5300 block of Waldo Place and spotted a woman — later identified asShriner — who was “armed with a handgun” in the yard of a neighboring residence. The popular Los Angeles band Weezer — which is scheduled to play the Coachella festival this month — has released more than a dozen albums since breaking out with its self-titled 1994 debut known as “The Blue Album.” It has sold more than 5 million copies in the U.S. and spawned three Top 10 rock hits in “Undone – The Sweater Song,” “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So.” The quartet led by Rivers Cuomo followed with three platinum and two gold albums from 1996-2005, and its other best-known songs include “Hash Pipe,” “Dope Nose” and “Islands in the Sun.”
