Weezer Bassist’s Wife Jillian Lauren Shot in Police Altercation, Charged With Attempted Murder
Jillian Lauren, the wife of Weezer's Scott Shriner, has been charged with attempted murder after an altercation with police led to her getting shot.

A preliminary LAPD statement indicated that around 3:25 p.m., the California Highway Patrol requested back-up for a hit-and-run incident, in which the suspects fled into a residential neighborhood off the 134 Freeway. When officers got to the back of the residence, a woman who was later identified as Jillian was in the yard of a neighboring home with a gun, according to the statement.
