Weezer bassist’s wife Jillian Lauren shot by police and booked for attempted murder after confrontation outside LA home

The wife of a chart-topping band member was shot at by police and subsequently booked for attempted murder in LA.

Jillian Lauren, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was shot by police in LA yesterday (Wednesday, April 9). The dramatic episode started at approximately 3.25pm when California highway patrol requested backup for investigating a three-car hit-and-run. Jillian was later booked for attempted murder (Credit: The Moth / YouTube) According to a LAPD press release, police ordered her “to drop the handgun numerous times; however, she refused”.
