Weezer bassist Scott Shriner broke his silence on his wife Jillian Lauren's arrest for attempted murder after a police altercation
According to a Wednesday, April 9, press release from the Los Angeles Police Department, Lauren was arrested after authorities pursued a hit-and-run suspect in a residential neighborhood the previous day. According to a Los Angeles Police Department statement, Lauren was arrested on April 9, 2025, for felony attempted murder after allegedly firing a handgun at an LAPD officer. While one suspect connected to the hit-and-run was detained by California Highway Patrol and two others remained at large, Lauren was absentee booked for attempted murder, and a nine-millimeter handgun was retrieved from her and Shriner’s residence.
