Weather maps turn red - with temperatures set to rocket in three UK areas


It's finally time to put away the umbrella - but only if you live in certain parts of the country...

Netweather forecasts for next week show with temperatures rocketing to a peak of 27C on Thursday 11 July, when southeast England will enjoy six hours of heatwave weather. However, it's not good news all over the country, with wet and windy weather expected to persists in parts of the north and west of the UK in the coming days. But before any heat rolls in anywhere, we have some drizzle and rain to content with in the UK with cloudy conditions and heavy downpours expected later today.
