Water From Your Eyes Strip Down Ween’s ‘If You Could Save Yourself (You’d Save Us All)’
Experimental duo Water From Your Eyes have shared a stripped-down cover of Ween's 2003 track, 'If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All).'
The original tune appeared on Ween ’s 2003 album, Quebec, a big, winding ballad flush with orchestral strings and end-of-relationship agony. Water From Your Eyes deliver a fully unplugged take on the tune that’s no less affecting when stripped down to Nate Amos’ acoustic guitar and Rachel Brown’s vocals. Prior to the performance, the experimental duo opened up about their struggles with mental health over the years and how both music and therapy have been important tools.
