The Weeknd appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to perform his new song "Open Hearts."
For the late-night show performance, the musician stripped the color from the video feed and showcased the dynamic track in black and white while wearing a hood cloak and glowing eyeglasses. After sparks ignited from the lights above, the video switched back to color to reveal an empty audience with only a clapping baby watching. The musician, who also canceled a one-night stadium show in Pasadena, California, said he made the decision “out of respect and concern for the people of Los Angeles County.”
