In the latest sneak peak into the Apple TV+ and Sony project, the stakes are sky high when conniving marketing specialist Kelly Jones (Scar Jo) is recruited to help gain support for NASA amidst the space race. Soon, Jones butts heads with Apollo 11 launch specialist Cole Davis (Tatum) over her new mission to “fake” the moon landing as a back-up in case the real one fails. This is by design, as director Greg Berlanti told People his goal “was to craft a big, fun, smart original movie around whether or not the American government could have possibly faked the Apollo 11 moon landing, which is still the most-watched live TV event in the history of the world.”
