Kelly Clarkson covered Phil Collins' 'One More Night' during the latest 'Kellyoke' segment on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show.'
The Kellyoke performance marks Clarkson’s first cover of a Collins record since sharing her version of “Another Day in Paradise” with bassist Leland Sklar in 2022. This week, Clarkson has performed versions of Adele’s “All Night Parking Interlude,” Sia’s “Bird Set Free,” and Michale Montgomery’s “Sold.” Over the course of the talk show’s five seasons, the singer has delivered hundreds of covers spanning chart-topping pop hits, rock classics, and genre-spanning deep cuts. There’s a lot of guesswork about how she might connect to it lyrically or if it’s nostalgic, emotionally,” Clarkson’s long-time musical director Jason Halbert told Billboard in 2021 about crafting the covers segment on the series.
