Julien Baker joined Jasmine.4.t onstage at SXSW to cover System Of A Down’s "Toxicity."
Baker joined the British musician and her band for a raucous take on the hard rock track during Jasmine.4.t’s set at the Austin festival. Her recent Boygenius-produced LP, You Are the Morning, features frank and beautiful songs about life as a trans woman. She and Torres, whose real name is Mackenzie Scott, recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the effort and their joint love of country music.
