Before Jelly Roll sang a bit of Miley Cyrus ‘ “Flowers” to tens of thousands of fans as the day 2 headliner of Stagecoach on Saturday night, the country superstar got a little practice in with his wife, Bunnie XO. Then, as they walk surrounded by an entourage, Jelly begins singing the chorus of “Flowers,” with Bunnie sweetly joining in: “I can buy myself flowers/ Write my name in the sand/ Talk to myself for hours…” Jelly included “Flowers” as part of a medley in his Stagecoach set, also covering bits of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama,” Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me” and 2Pac and Dr. Dre’s “California Love.”
