Flashdance star Jennifer Beals even makes an appearance in the musical ad, and Billboard has exclusive behind-the-scenes video from the recording session.
“First I had cable but those cords weren’t me/ I needed to find new WiFi,” Braff sings to the tune of the ’80s classic, before Faison takes over: “So I switched to T-Mobile/ Home Internet with 5G/ It runs on their network/ Just plug it in and you’ll see.” The Aquaman star then joins the duo for the high-energy chorus, belting with an impressive vocal run during the lyrics, “I need home Internet/ From T-Mobile to fulfill my life,” before performing the iconic Flashdance wet chair scene. Last year, we had similar behind-the-scenes footage of Braff and Faison recording new lyrics to “Summer Nights” from Grease for their musical T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial with John Travolta.
