Watch FKA Twigs Perform ‘Cellophane’ at London Charity Show

FKA Twigs performed her song "Cellphone" at a charity show in London in support of Gaza and Sudan.

FKA Twigs released “Cellophane” in 2019, marking her first new solo effort since 2016’s “Good to Love.” It was accompanied by a trippy and emotional video directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, known for his collaborations with Björk. In March, Twigs made a welcome return to music with Two Shell on single “Talk to Me.” Earlier this year, she began teasing her forthcoming album on Discord. The project was inspired primarily by the move she made to Prague a few summers ago, where she “fell in love with techno.” The musician clarified that “the album isn’t techno but the spirit is there,” adding: “It’s deep but not sad… I’m not sad anymore.”
