The moment marked the late-night host’s first ever ink.

On her recent visit to Late Night, the 28-year-old pop star and talk-show host got matching tattoos on camera with the help of a little liquid courage. The nervous former Saturday Night Live cast member then needed a couple more shots before proceeding with his first ever tattoo, for which the “Levitating” singer — who estimated she has about 20 already — suggested a tiny star. And in addition to being fresh off the release of her latest single “Houdini,” she’s also been enjoying awards show recognition for her Barbie soundtrack single “Dance the Night.” The track was up for best original song, motion picture at Sunday’s (Jan. 7) Golden Globes (the prize ultimately went to another Barbie piece, Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”) and has been shortlisted for best original song at this year’s Oscars.
