“CBS announced today that it has renewed nine additional series for the 2025-2026 broadcast season,” per a February 2025 press release. But we will see Kaya again – fans will find out what she’s been up to in her new role as ‘Detective’ next season when I come back to guest star and play with Carrie and Wendell. Executive Producer Jonathan Tolins spoke about how the show will move forward with Kaya in a reduced role.
