The image was simply a picture with bold black letters on a cloudy light-gray background, stating, “DEFINITION OF OLD: OUT LIVE DUMMIES.” Truly, all this merely served to complement his admonition to the audience that they should “Pay attention when you say that word old nigga.” They probably all agree with the big G that long life should be something to celebrate as proof of survival and wisdom, rather than something to laugh at or be scared of, judging by the sheer excitement. Somewhat deeper issues that Griffin has taken further in this regard include elder respect in today’s society, and especially in this world of hip-hop that seems to worship youth above anything else.
