Warning issued to Brits travelling to European holiday hotspot this September

The UK's Foreign Office has issued a travel warning to Brits who are heading to Greece in September, as the country is hit with a heatwave - with temperatures soaring

Greece is set to sizzle next month with temperatures predicted to be higher than usual, extending the country's streak of scorching weather. This prediction has been backed up by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), which also anticipates a similar temperature rise across the rest of Greece. Despite minor differences between the two weather models, both provide a reliable indication of what to expect this autumn, suggesting a warmer-than-usual season in Greece.
