When speaking during a recent quarterly earnings call (via Reddit), CEO David Zaslav confirmed that they have a 10-year plan for the franchise, and are very happy with where it’s headed so far. “We’re wrapping on Supergirl and are deep into production on Lanterns, all part of our ten-year plan to reignite the DC brand globally and drive long-term franchise value.” James Gunn and Peter Safran have made it clear that their priority is making good projects led by the writers and not by mandates from higher ups at Warner Bros.
