Warner Bros. Discovery will launch Max in Turkey in April and is planning to ramp up the production of Turkish originals.
Subscribers to Max in Turkey will also have access to Eurosport, Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, CNN International, and Discovery+ shows. “As one of the most populous countries in the EMEA region, with more people than Germany, U.K, or France, the launch in Turkey presents a major opportunity to entertain and engage millions of new fans with high quality content across film and television from WBD’s world class studios,” the statement said. Discovery also underlined that Max is committed to increasing its investment in local productions with new Turkish streaming originals added to the platform in coming months.
