Warm weather error could see drivers hit with £80 fine


The Met Office has said there will be warm weather across much of the UK

With a sizzling Bank Holiday on the horizon and the Met Office hinting at rising temperatures, Brits are gearing up for some warm weather next month early May. "But while it might be tempting to leave the engine idling while you're parked, especially if a mate or family member has just popped to the shops or if you have a young child asleep in the back, it's a bad habit we all need to be aware of. It further advises that if the vehicle is stopped for more than a couple of minutes you should 'apply the parking brake and switch off the engine to reduce emissions and noise pollution'.
