Walker cancelled: Jared Padalecki says it is 'a tough piece of news' that action-drama series ending after four seasons on The CW
The news about the action-drama show's cancellation was revealed on Tuesday, and it was also announced that the program would finish out its fourth run of episodes next month.
Representatives for The CW released a statement to confirm the news about the show's demise and to express their gratitude for the efforts of the cast and crew of the program. They stated via The Hollywood Reporter: 'We want to thank the entire cast, crew, writers, directors and producers of Walker for their hard work and dedication over four incredible seasons,' they said. The statement continued: 'We also want to give a special thanks to star and executive producer Jared Padalecki, who has been a member of The CW family for over 20 years and was integral to some of the biggest hits on the network.'
