During Monday night's 2025 BET Awards, Wale and Kai Cenat crossed paths while Cenat was doing a livestream of his night.

The popular streamer didn't remember the D.C. rapper even though they played on the same celebrity flag football team a year prior. “I didn’t know we was bein filmed both times..we played in a celebrity football game last year …I was reallly confused.” Then on Tuesday morning (June 10), Wale poked fun at himself and posted their first interaction in the form of an ad for the Nintendo Switch on his X account.
