Waldorf AstoriaWaldorfAstoria.com A man barricaded himself in a room at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills hotel Thursday morning, resulting in a police response that resulted in a partial evacuation of the premises and two major streets closed. The Beverly Hills Police Department said they arrived at 11:15 a.m. to reports of a man with a gun on one of the floors inside the hotel. Part of the hotel was evacuated as authorities investigated what was termed an “active threat.”
