Launched by the influential Culture, Media and Sport Committee, the bipartisan inquiry has spent weeks interviewing industry figures as part of an investigation into the current state of film and TV production in the UK. Richards appeared at the session alongside Picturehouse Managing Director Clare Binns and Alex Hamilton, CEO of Studiocanal UK, who both expressed fairly downbeat conclusions about the current and future position of independent British cinema.
