Virtual Production Company Orbital Studios Signs With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)
Orbital Studios, a film and television production studio specializing in end-to-end virtual production services, has signed with CAA.
Founded in 2021, the Los Angeles-based Orbital Studios is comprised of a team of seasoned filmmaking professionals and has become a driving force in virtual production. In addition to FX and the History Channel, the company has worked with Disney+, Hulu, A&E, Sony, Epic Games and EA Sports, as well as brands such as Hummer and Mercedes-Benz. Orbital Studios is the latest in a string of buzzy CAA signings that include “Anatomy of a Fall” Oscar winner Justine Triet, “Westworld” co-creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, “The Vampire Diaries” co-creator Julie Plec, emerging filmmaker Margaret Zhang, along with performers including Tilda Swinton, Mike Faist, J.B. Smoove, Kit Harrington, Elizabeth Olsen and John C. Reilly.
