Virginia Giuffre’s Lawyer Addresses Doubts Over Her Death

Virginia Giuffre’s attorney addressed misinterpreted comments about her death, stating it was not believed to be suspicious in any way.

“I would like to set the record straight as things I said have been misinterpreted,” the attorney said in a statement to People on Friday, May 2, clarifying that she is “not willing to speculate on her cause of death as to whether it was suicide or misadventure.” News broke on April 25 that Giuffre, who previously accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, died of suicide. “The world lost a fierce warrior,” Amanda Roberts, Virginia’s sister-in-law, told People in an interview published on Saturday, April 26.
