Virginia Giuffre, accuser in cases against Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, died at 41 by suicide. Learn key events leading to her tragic death
While awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges, Epstein is found dead by suicide at New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional Center in August 2019. A letter was submitted to the United States District Court in New York City, explaining that the parties plan on filing a stipulation dismissing the case within 30 days. “Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”
