Despite its huge following and avid fans, the practice has been criticised by Dr. Hasan Benar, dermatologist at Dr. Elif Clinic, who explained it could cause long-term issues. Dr Benar revealed that anyone looking for an overnight cream should consider products that are lightweight, non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores), and designed to support skin repair and renewal.
