While speaking with co-anchor Michael Strahan, Davis opened up about how her 14-year-old daughter Genesis' reaction made her feel, describing it as "everything" to her. Despite starring in many award-winning films and TV shows and living an "extraordinary life," the EGOT winner knew something was missing. “What I tell my daughter right now is, 'Genesis, you are the love of your life,' ” Davis told PEOPLE in an interview for the magazine's 50th anniversary special issue.
