Vincent D’Onofrio responded with his own social media post claiming that, while Phil Silvera did bring quite a bit of his stunt proficiency to the series, he far from reworked the project. Though given what fans know about the original incarnation, with it apparently focusing much more on Matt Murdock’s life as a lawyer than his time as Daredevil, it’s understandable Rob Liefeld may have viewed that as a comedy when compared to the current iteration described by Vincent D’Onofrio and the rest of the cast.
