Vin Diesel Says ‘Fast X: Part 2’ Will “Finally Return Home”: “Los Angeles Needs It Now More Than Ever”


Vin Diesel is returning the Fast & Furious franchise to where it all started: Los Angeles.

The actor took to social media to share a conversation with co-star Jordana Brewster about filming the rest of Fast X: Part 2 in LA to bring back production to the city following the devastating wildfires. “Last week, during the fires that displaced LA… my sister Jordana reached out to me and said… Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA,” Diesel shared on Instagram alongside a photo of him and Brewster. Diesel thanked fans of the franchise “for being the backbone of this global saga,” and added, “This grand finale is not just an ending, it’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together.”
