The Beatles, Bette Midler, Cyndi Lauper, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Adele, Sam Smith, Chance the Rapper and Dua Lipa are among those who took home the award in previous decades.
