Victoria Beckham Gets Her Own Docuseries at Netflix
Victoria Beckham has landed her own docuseries at Netflix after her scene-stealing appearance in husband David's documentary at the streamer.
“Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire — and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all,” reads the logline. Victoria was the break-out star of “Beckham,” particularly a scene in which David pushes her to admit she was not working class and was in fact dropped off at school in a limousine, an exchange which has since become a bona fide meme. Last year “Beckham” director Fisher Stevens told Variety he spent 14 hours interviewing Victoria for her husband’s documentary, which followed the soccer star’s climb from aspiring athlete to footballing and fashion icon.
