Vicky McClure ditches the red carpet glam for a tracksuit at the launch of the second series of ITV hit drama Trigger Point
Line of Duty's Vicky McClure, 40, kept things casual as she attended the launch of the second series of ITV 's Trigger Point in a tracksuit, ahead of its premiere on Sunday.
In Trigger Point, Vicky plays lead character Lana Washington - a police bomb disposal officer who lost her best friend and colleague Joel 'Nut' Nutkins and her brother Billy in explosions in 2022's series one But in this new series she's back in the UK dealing with more explosive situations, as well as the news that the man she still carries a torch for, DCI Thom Youngblood, has a new girlfriend. In episode one Lana is in London giving a lecture to security officers from financial institutions about terrorism issues when a huge nearby explosion lights up the picture window behind her audience, queuing up another high-octane thriller.
