Vernon Kay shares 'honest' verdict on King Charles and Royal Family after Palace meeting
A BBC Radio 2 listener recently messaged Vernon to share their fears of being the "country bumpkin" at a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, but the host had some words of encouragement
Last year, Vernon joined his wife, Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly, and various other famous faces, including Love Island's Maya Jama, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Jason Statham, and Roman Kemp, for a Garden Party. King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, and the Duchess of Gloucester were in attendance at the event, which was held to honour those working in the film, TV, radio, arts, and fashion industries. At the time, Buckingham Palace said: "From theatre to video games, publishing to design, museums and galleries to film sets and music studios, the creative industries, and the creators and organisations within them, bring happiness, prosperity and help shape the world around us."
