Vernon Kay and Tess Daly 'have SIGNED' for celebrity edition of The Traitors as show bids to replicate the success of secret mother-and-son duo Diane and Ross from regular series

The star-studded spin-off of the BBC's hit game show recently entered production and bosses have reportedly signed up a pair of celebrities to act as a duo.

The move is in a similar vein to Diane and Ross from the regular edition of the series last year, who, unbeknownst to the other contestants, were mother and son. A source told The Sun:'Although the famous couple won't have any secrecy around the fact they are linked, it will still create huge amounts of suspicion and paranoia and really test allegiances. The idea of including two contestants who are secrelty related in some way become one of the most memorable moments of last year's show when Diane and Ross were revealed to be mother and son.
