Vernon Kay addresses being 'shouted at' by wife and daughters over one-sided issue at home

BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay confessed that he often got "shouted at" by his family for not showing enough care when they are unwell, despite being treated "like a King"

He was playfully dubbed "a lucky man" by fellow presenter Zoe Ball after relaying mornings in the Kay household, saying: "I have Strictly Come Dancing's Tess Daly roll over and go, 'It's time to get up', with a dig of the elbow, 'Come on, get up,'" reports the Express. On Tuesday, it was announced that Vernon is set to join the presenting line up for BBC Children in Need 2024 alongside Rochelle Humes, who returns to hosting duties for the first time since 2019. The pair will be joining this year’s line up alongside Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc, Chris Ramsey and Lenny Rush, live on BBC One and iPlayer from MediaCityUK, Salford, at 7pm on Friday 15 November 2024 to take viewers through a sparkling evening of fun and fundraising.
