Venice Film Festival Director Details Plan to Prevent Brangelina Run-In

Exes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie both have movies debuting at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, and the Festival’s director thought about that

Alberto Barbera, the festival’s artistic director, told Vanity Fair earlier this month that Jolie and Pitt’s appearances for their respective films, Maria and Wolfs, will “of course” be spaced out. Nestled among the rolling hills of the French countryside in the small village of Correns sits Château Miraval, the centuries-old 1,200-acre property Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie purchased for $28.4 million in 2008. Jolie seemingly hinted at some of the turmoil in her life when asked how she relates to the real-life opera singer she plays in Maria during a press conference ahead of the film’s Thursday’s screening in Venice.
