In an interview, Eric Kripke—'The Boys' showrunner—talks about the show's politics, Homelander v. Butcher, fighting trolls, creating new supes, and more.

Kripke hedged on the question when asked about it for this interview, which took place a few weeks before his announcement; but he did state clearly that he doesn’t want “The Boys” ever to be “turning into the thing that we’re parodying” — that is, an endless stream of superhero content that has flooded pop culture for years.
