Variety Women in Cinema Panel to feature Salma Abu Deif, Kiara Advani, Sarocha Chankimha (Freen), Adhwa Fahad, Aseel Omran, Ramata Toulaye-Sy
Salma Abu Deif is an Egyptian actress and model who both produced and played the lead role in “A Nose and Three Eyes” that screened at the 2023 Red Sea International Film Festival. Sarocha Chankimha(AKA Freen) is a Thai actress, model and singer, who in 2022 appeared in “Secret Crush” on “You and Gap: The Series,” which gained her international notice and multiple awards. Two years later, she made her first feature, “Banel & Adama.” Shot in the Fulani language, this Senegalese tale earned the director a slot in the official competition at Cannes in 2023.
