Vanessa Williams to star in Elton John's West End version of The Devil Wears Prada as she lands lead role as Miranda Priestly
The stage production is based on the 2003 novel that was used as the basis for the 2006 film, which starred Meryl Streep as magazine editor Priestly and Anne Hathaway as her assistant.
It marks a return to UK theatre for Vanessa, 60, who made her West End stage debut in the musical City of Angels which was forced to shut down early due to the onset of the pandemic in March 2020.
