Vanessa Feltz breaks silence on Phillip Schofield’s TV comeback saying she's 'surprised, but delighted'
Vanessa Feltz has spoken out about Phillip Schofield's return to television 16 months after leaving This Morning, which he had presented for over 20 years
Vanessa, who had worked with Phil for years, shared, "Just him and a camera for 10 days," which made her believe that "he would have felt as if he could could orchestrate it," and that "it would be authentic, nobody would manipulate him, he wouldn't sort of end up on the cutting room floor, because he was the person actually making the film." Announcing the new series on on Instagram on Wednesday, more than a year on from his resignation from ITV last May, he called the show his “story of survival, both on a desert island and off it”. Channel 5 said the experience of Schofield being left alone allows him to “confront the challenges of total isolation, the forces of nature and provides the time to battle within his own mind as he explores his own controversial story”.
