The TV star, 63 — whose Food Network Show Valerie's Home Cooking was nominated for two awards — looked totally loved-up with her writer beau, 53, as they took over the 51st annual gala held at the Westin Bonaventure in LA Goodnough said that amid 'a certain bit of gossip' they were involved in, he decided to 'address it head on' and consulted with Bertinelli 'out of respect' and 'reached out to [her] in question directly to discuss the matter with [her] prior to writing this.'
