Hollywood icon Val Kilmer, famed for his roles in Batman Forever and The Doors, has tragically passed away at the age of 65. His career took a hit due to his roles in a string of box office failures, notably Dead Girl alongside Marlon Brando and the high-budget action film Red Planet in 2000. Phillip Noyce, who directed him in The Saint, told the Chicago Sun-Times in 1997 that Kilmer "is plagued by a bad image, but most of it is unjustified.
