UTA Alum Kristin Myers Joins Podcast Research Firm Sounds Profitable as Principal
UTA alum Kristin Myers has joined podcast research and advocacy firm Sounds Profitable as principal, helping to expand its consulting activities.
In recruiting Myers, the company aims to help clients explore “untapped opportunities that extend audio into adjacent industries such as film and TV, books, gaming, nonprofit sectors and emerging technologies.” It’s weathered two decades of open growth, a pandemic-fueled boom and bust, more than its fair share of ‘SNL’ jokes at its expense, but ultimately, it’s proven just how valuable it is globally as a form of entertainment and information,” said Barletta. “The addition of Kristin to the Sounds Profitable team adds immense value to our existing partners while simultaneously amplifying what we’ve built over the last four years to major industries that fully acknowledge audio, and podcasting, need to be part of their plan.”
